Registered NDIS provider supporting children, young people, and families across early childhood, school-aged support, participation, and transitions.
At N JAY DISABILITY CONSULTANT, I support children, young people, and families with warm, respectful, individualised services shaped around real life.
My work includes support across early childhood, general special needs, school-aged disability and support needs, school participation, transitions, and practical everyday functioning. I understand that families are often trying to manage many things at once — developmental concerns, school issues, behaviour, routines, reports, services, and big decisions about the future. My role is to help make that feel clearer, calmer, and more manageable.
Before starting this service, I worked for more than 30 years as a Special Needs Teacher with the NSW Department of Education, and I am a Registered Proficient Teacher. That means families are not only getting a registered NDIS provider — they are also receiving support from someone who understands children, learning, schools, transitions, and the real pressures families face.
Families often want one trusted person who understands both disability support needs and the education system. This service is designed to provide warm, family-centred support, practical strategies for everyday life, guidance across early childhood and school-aged needs, and help with important transitions — including school readiness, school participation, and broader life-stage change.
Support may include early childhood intervention, general special needs support, parent and carer coaching, school participation support, school readiness, transition planning, sensory and regulation support, liaison with professionals, and reports or documentation where appropriate.
VIEW SERVICESOne of the strongest parts of my work is helping children, young people, and families manage important transitions. This may include support with early childhood transitions, school readiness, moving into or through school, participation challenges, communication with educators, and broader planning around change. Because of my long background in special education, I understand how schools work, what children may need to participate more confidently, and how overwhelming transition periods can feel for families.
LEARN MORE ABOUT TRANSITIONS AND SUPPORTI work collaboratively with paediatricians, GPs, allied health providers, support coordinators, plan managers, preschools, childcare services, educators, schools, and other professionals involved in the child or young person's care.
